AARP MedicareRx Saver Plus has a $3,750.00 initial coverage limit (ICL). When you hit the ICL you must pay the next $3752.50 in prescription drug costs out of pocket. This gap in coverage is commonly called the Donut Hole. During this period you'll get a minimum 42% discount on ALL formulary generics and a minimum 55% discount on ALL brand drugs will have. Some plans offer additional assistance in the Coverage Gap, but AARP MedicareRx Saver Plus does not.
Pharmacy CopaymentsAll PDP plans have copay requirements, including AARP MedicareRx Saver Plus. You make the copayments at your pharmacy when you pickup your prescriptions. The copay amount is based on the formulary tier your prescription falls under, as follows:
